OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Developer and Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable BI solutions within our organization. This role involves developing and managing ETL processes, maintaining data warehouse systems, creating data models, and ensuring the stability and reliability of data analytics platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and manage ETL processes and data integrations.
  • Build and maintain data models and databases for BI applications.
  • Create scalable, reliable, and visually appealing BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights and translate complex data into easily understandable reports.
  • Develop and execute complex database queries and conduct analyses.
  • Work closely with Business analysts and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and implement data changes and BI solutions accordingly.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to Business Analysts on SQL and BI platform and tools.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BI and Data Engineering
  • ALL OMG employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly.

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience as SQL developer or data engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with BI tools (prefer Power Bi)
  • 1+ years of experience with ETL tools (prefer Data Factory)
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Analyst Associate

EQUIPMENT NORMALLY USED:

  • Telephone and headset, computer, thin client, scanner, printer, multiple screens, fax, tools. Wiring and other equipment as needed.
  • PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
