Recruiting Coordinator will coordinate with the Executive Director on a regular basis and proactively identify future foster parent recruitment needs, implementing recruitment strategies to ensure availability of qualified treatment foster parents. Recruiter should also be able to attract treatment foster parents using various sources, like social media networks, professional conferences, family to family network fairs and referrals. Recruiter will screen and certify treatment foster parents according to state regulations and RISE policies and procedures. Recruiter is responsible to attract, train, complete pre-service and work with team on retention techniques for Professional/Foster Parents.

This position is needed in the Fort Worth Area!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Recruitment -

    • Responsible for the internal and external posting for Professional Parents/Foster Parents. Ensure that postings comply with state, licensing and contract requirements.

  • Consults with Executive Director on recruitment strategies to be used in the recruitment process. Frequent evening and weekend recruiting activities are necessary for effective recruitment.

  • Prepare recruitment materials and post ads

  • Identifies the best method to find and attract treatment foster parents based on the needs of the contractor.

  • Maintains Qualified Pool of Professional/Foster Parents

  • Builds and maintains positive community relationships

    • Coordinate participation in job fairs, networking, vendor fairs

    • Respond to foster parent inquiries.

    • Will complete homestudies of prospective treatment foster families.

    • Focuses efforts on maintaining and supporting Professional/Foster Parent morale activities, recognition and appreciation.

  • Conduct pre-service training along with co-trainer, often times in the evenings and on weekends.

  • Completes all necessary paperwork including, but not limited to, home studies, annual reviews/recertification, training logs, letter of concerns, corrective action plans and updating Extended Reach and State systems with needed information.

  • Assures family files meet state regulations, company policy and licensing standards.

  • Prepare and distribute reports as needed.

  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team

  • Maintain current dashboard, working with Business Analyst to report and measure outcomes

  • Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships during the selection process

  • Promote RISE reputation

  • Act as an appropriate role model in using appropriate language, dress, manners, and in showing respect.

  • Travel up to 25% of time

  • Participates in meetings and other activities internal to RISE; specifically, but not limited to monthly Management Team meetings. Works with training dept. to effectively create and train interviewing techniques. Collaborates with management and administrative staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in social work or related field with one year of experience working with at-risk youth. Prior marketing experience preferred.

  • Experience in clerical/secretarial or general office work.

  • Experience in recruiting/ sales

  • Experience using computer software including Word, Windows, Excel, etc.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information including but not limited to pay, benefits, compensation and financial information.

  • Ability to greet the public by telephone and in person in a professional manner.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication and interaction with referral sources, clients, prospective foster parents, foster families, outside agency personnel and other care providers when gathering and exchanging information. This level of interpersonal skills requires a great deal of tact and diplomacy. Being able to openly discuss sensitive subjects with prospective foster parents and current foster parents in order to effectively address, assess and intervene as necessary to maintain the viability of the home for placements.

  • Ability to write all necessary materials and communications relevant to the position and interpret policies, procedures, and other required information.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, demonstrate attention to detail, exhibit patience and perseverance in completing tasks, demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks and timely follow-through skills.

  • Self directed, works with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of state, licensing and contract expectations.
